The HSReplay.net team is proud to announce the release of a brand new filter: Player Experience!
With this new filter Premium users can only see stats from games recorded by players with a minimum of 25 or 50 games played with a given deck. We believe this filter will more closely represent how each deck performs in the hands of more experienced deck pilots, as players who are just starting to play with a new archetype might not know the deck's intricacies, how some interactions work and how to properly navigate each different matchup.
And of course some archetypes are simply harder to play optimally than others. As a rule of thumb, most aggro decks tend to be fairly straightforward to play due to their single win condition and because players tend to have less cards in hand (and so less decision points), while combo and control decks can have multiple win conditions that require more experience to properly master.
Here's an example of how the winrate of different decks can vary depending on the player experience:
